Some 18 individuals who had allegedly engaged in illegal motorcycle racing have been arrested by the Piliyandala police.
The suspects were arrested while racing on the new Kesbewa main road early hours of this morning (24), according to the police.
The most of the bikers were identified as residents from Colombo 15, police said. They will be produced before the Kesbewa Magistrate this afternoon.
