The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sweden Margot Wallström will visit Jaffna tomorrow (26) where she will meet the Governor and Chief Minister of the Northern Province and the District Secretary of Jaffna.
She will also meet with civil society, visit an IDP Welfare Camp and visit the Maravanpulo SDC Housing Project.
Wallström is in Sri Lanka from April 24-26 at the invitation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mangala Samaraweera.
Minister Wallström held also official bilateral discussions with Minister Samaraweera on 25 April morning at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the visit, Minister Wallström is expected to call on President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and also meet with the Speaker of Parliament.
