Six fishermen missing off Hikkaduwa coast

Six fishermen who went for fishing from the Hikkaduwa Fisheries Harbour have been reported missing, the police said.
The group had left for fishing on the high seas at the early hours of April 19.
The missing fishermen have been identified as persons from Hikkaduwa, Egodagoda and Batalawatta areas.
The Navy has already been informed about the incident and a search will be launched to locate the fishermen, the police added.
