Two persons were killed after colliding with a train near Wellawatte, the Main Control Room of Sri Lanka Railways said. The deceased were a female(25) who was a resident of Maskeliya and male(23) a resident of Hatton.
Police are conducting further investigations.
In an unrelated incident another person was killed today morning after colliding with the Panadura-Colombo train in Ratmalana.
