Manusath Derana is ready to accept flood relief

Do you wish to help with caring for nearly half a million people affected by floods in many parts of the island?

 

The Manusath Derana flood relief campaign, which commenced the distribution of relief to flood-affected areas yesterday, is currently collecting dry rations and other items for distribution to those in urgent need them.  

 

We will be accepting flood relief items from 9.00am to 5.00pm today (May 21) at TV Derana Head Office located at No 320, T B Jayah Mawatha, Colombo 10. 

 

The following items have been identified as required by flood victims:

 

Children’s milk
School stationary
Sanitary items
Towels
New clothes (especially children’s clothes)
Dry rations 
Underwear
Sarongs 
Bottled water

 

The Manusath Derana team kindly requests those who wish to make a contribution to avoid brining any cooked food.
