Two senior UK diplomats arrives in Sri Lanka

Two senior UK diplomats have arrived in Sri Lanka, on Monday morning (06), the British High Commission in Colombo said.
The two diplomats are Permanent Under-Secretary at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office Simon McDonald and Permanent Secretary at the UK Department for International Development Mark Lowcock.
McDonald, the most senior UK diplomat and Lowcock will meet with Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, Leader of the Opposition R. Sampanthan, members of the government, senior officials and UK funded civil society partners.
They will discuss progress on reconciliation and human rights as well as UK support for reconciliation, and wider areas of cooperation between two countries.
