The Navy has arrested nine local fishermen who engaged in illegal fishing activities in Sampoor area.
Along with the suspects a dinghy, a monofilament net, two diving masks and a pair of diving fins used for fishing activities were also taken into custody.
The apprehended persons and the items were produced to Sampoor Police for onward action.
