Parliament adjourned due to mic system malfunctioning

Parliament proceedings have temporary been suspended as the microphone system of the Parliament premises is malfunctioning, Ada Derana reporter said.
Speaker Karu Jayasuriya has adjourned the House until further notice due to the incident, the reporter added.
A debate on the motion of no-confidence against Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake was also scheduled be held this afternoon (08).
UPDATE: Parliament proceedings have been suspended until tomorrow (09) by the Speaker due to the technical issue. The debate on the motion of no-confidence will also be held tomorrow morning.
