A businessman has been abducted by an unknown group of people in Horowpathana road in Vavuniya, the police said.
An investigation is underway to locate the businessman, and apprehend the suspects, according to the police.
Ada Derana reporter said that the victim was abducted by unknown people who arrived in a van.
The police have recovered victim’s motorbike, slippers and pair of specs from the location where he was abducted.
