Indian Customs officials at the Cochin International Airport Limited arrested two Sri Lankan nationals and seized gold worth 2.5 million Indian rupees from their possession.
Officials said the duo had landed in Kerala on a Sri Lankan Airways flight from Colombo on Thursday morning.
The sleuths recovered eight gold bars from them, and each weighed 200 grams, The Hindu reported.
