12 hour water cut in several areas including Colombo

The National Water Supply and Drainage Board announced that a 12 hour water cut will be imposed from 6.00pm today (5) to 6.00am tomorrow in several areas including parts of Colombo.
The water cut will affect Dehiwala-Mount Lavinia Municipal Council area, Wellawata, Kirulapana, Bambalapitiya, Kollupitiya, Pamankada, Havelock, Jayanthipura, Pelawatta, Mulleriyawa, Ambatale and Kohilawatta.
The water board says that the water supply to the aforementioned areas will be temporarily suspended due to a pipeline from Ambatale Water Treatment Plant to the Dehiwala water supply center being damaged.
