
An undergraduate who alleged to have involved in the recent clash at the University of Jaffna has been granted bail today.
The student was released on two personal bails of Rs.100,000 rupees each after being produced before the Jaffna Magistrate, MP M.A. Sumanthiran who appeared on behalf of the suspect told Ada Derana.
A three-member committee has also been appointed to investigate into student clash at the university. The clash which occurred on Saturday (16) also caused the temporary closure of the university for few days.
