
The incidents were likely the same, but there were two different results for the students of Kelaniya and Jaffna universities, Pivithuru Hela Urumaya (PHU) leader Udaya Gammanpila says.
The observation was made at a press conference held in Colombo this afternoon (21).
“A powerful figure of the government had reportedly urged the police not arrest Jaffna university attackers. It is clear the existence of two different laws for the students of north and here” he added.
While referring to an observation made by the Prime Minister of being a good friend of former President Chandrika Kumaratunga since childhood and going for a dancing class together, he added, “despite they learned to dance together, now they dance to the tune of foreign countries.”
