A fire has been reported in a shop at Olcott Mawatha opposite the Fort Railway station, Ada Derana reporter said.
Traffic congestion also reported around the railway station and along the Olcott Mawatha due to the incident.
The police advice the motorists to use alternative roads if at all possible.
