An exam invigilator has been sacked after he failed to appear at the exam centre on time, it was reported.
However, the students sitting for the G.C.E. Advanced Level examination at the number 01 exam hall in Henagama area in Kelaniya were given extra time of one and a half hours due to the incident, Commissioner General of Examinations W.M.N.J. Pushpakumara said.
An inquiry will also be held with respect of the incident, he added.
