Protest march was a great success - Aluthgamage

Over two million people had come to the financial capital to participate the protest march on Monday (01), MP Mahindananda Aluthgamage says.
The observation was made at a press conference held in Colombo on Tuesday (02).
He also warned the government to change its stance on the proposed economic pact with India and other harmful agreements, in a bid to prevent protest marches of this manner in future.
While speaking at the press conference MP Wimal Weerawansa stressed with the success of the protest march, nakedness of “IGP Koojitha and the red elephant” which were covered by “the green color underwear” have now been exposed.
