A long discussion is underway with the support of experts to elaborate policy framework in a bid to build a broad front for people, the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna says (JVP).
JVP leader MP Anura Kumara Dissanayake made the observation while speaking at a press conference held in Colombo this afternoon (03).
He also pointed out the coalition government of the Maithri-Ranil have also failed to bring about what they were looking for.
“However, any space should not be given to take power for the Rajapaksa clan as well,” he told reporters.
He went on to say the people of the country should unite to build a ‘new’ government.
