The Nuwara Eliya High Court today sentenced to death 7 persons of the same family who were convicted over a murder committed in 2004.
They had been charged over the assault and murder of Periyasami Hariramar aged 33 atVenture Estate in Konkodiya in February, 2004.
High Court Judge Lalith Ekanayake also imposed a fine on the defendants.
