Woman’s body found in a sack in Eheliyagoda

The body of a young woman has been found stuffed inside a fertilizer bag in Paligala, Eheliyagoda.
The remains were discovered by Eheliyagoda Police officers following information received to the 119 police emergency hotline.
The deceased has been identified as a 24-year-ols woman from Kithulmada, Digana.
Follliwng the magistrate’s inquiry, the body was placed at the Eheliyagoda Hospital for the postmortem examination.
Eheliyagoda Police is conducting an extensive investigation into this suspicious death, police headquarters said.
