Rajitha clarifies reasons behind new appointment

The decision to appoint another Director General to the Ministry of Health was taken based on a policy decision of the government, Minister Rajitha Senaratne says.
The Minister told Ada Derana that steps will be taken to appoint three more Director Generals for Defence, Education and Road Development Ministries as well.
He also went on to say the new Director Generals will be appointed to handle the finance and accounting since the estimated budget of the earlier mentioned Ministries exceed Rs.100 billion.
