Three held with over 100kg of Kerala Ganja

Sri Lanka Navy personnel have apprehended three persons with over 100 kilograms of ‘Kerala Ganja’.

 

Naval personnel of Special Boat Squadron attached to SLNS Uththara located in Kankesanthurai  in the Northern Naval Command apprehended the suspects who were transporting 101 kg of Kerala Cannabis in the general area of Manalkadu today (20).

 

The arrested persons along with the haul of cannabis were produced to the Jaffna Excise Department for onward action, SLN media unit said.

 

Meanwhile in a separate incident naval personnel attached to SLNS Kanchadeewa located in Kayts in the Northern Naval Command apprehended two persons, with 33 kg of Kerala Cannabis in their possession, in the general area of Iyakachchi today (20).

 

The arrested persons along with the haul of cannabis were produced to the Department of Exercise in Jaffna for onward legal actions.
