The Navy has apprehended two persons, with 33 kg of Kerala Cannabis in their possession, in the general area of Iyakachchi.
The suspects were arrested by Navy personnel attached to SLNS Kanchadeewa located in Kayts in the Northern Naval Command.
The arrested persons along with the haul of cannabis were produced to the Department of Exercise in Jaffna for onward legal actions.
