Three get capital punishment over killing of a man 23-years ago

Three accuses including a married couple have been sentenced to death by the Hambantota High Court over a murder of an individual in 1993, Ada Derana reporter says.
The judgment delivered when the case was taken up for hearing before High Court Judge Ajith M. Masinghe on Thursday afternoon (01).
The accused had been indicted on charges of murdering Gahadure Jayasena in January 1993. According to reporter, the married couple, aged 66 and 61, and the other accuse have been identified as residents of Ruhuna Ridigama area in Ambalantota.
