Court fixes dates for case against Daya Master

The Vavuniya High Court on Tuesday fixed the date for the case against former LTTE media spokesman Velayutham Dayanidhi alias Daya Master, Ada Derana reporter said.

 


The case will be taken up for hearing again on 28 September.

 


Daya Master is charged over a statement that he made before the Colombo Magistrate regarding the final stage of the war, reporter added. Earlier, the accused was released on a cash bail of Rs.500,000 and four personal bails.

 


TNA Parliamentarian and lawyer M.A. Sumanthiran appeared on behalf of the accused.
