An individual has been killed after he was knocked down by a Colombo bound train in Ella area last evening, police said.
The 26-year-old man was run over by the train near a bridge in Demodara, it was reported.
He has succumbed to injuries upon his admission to the Badulla hospital. The deceased has been identified as a resident of Bandarawela area in Welimada.
