UPFA MP Wimal Weerawansa has arrived at the Financial Crime Investigation Division (FCID) a short while ago on Wednesday, police said.
The MP has been summoned by the FCID to record a statement, an official said.
The statement will be recorded in connection with irregularities occurred at the Ministry of Housing and Construction while he was serving as its Minister, the official added.
