Students reported missing have been found safe - police

Twelve school students who were reported missing at the Horton Plains National Park since last afternoon have been found, the police confirmed a short while ago on Sunday (18).
The students were found following a joint operation launched by the police and army, an official said.
The operation was launched based on information received that the students were stranded in the park after losing their way, police said. The students have been identified as residents of Kolonnawa area in Colombo.
