An individual who had allegedly assaulted a security guard at the Marawila hospital has been arrested.
The incident transpired as the guard reportedly obstructed the individual who had arrived at a ward during non-visiting hours, police said.
The arrested suspect has been identified as a resident of Mudukatuwa area in Marawila.
He will be produced before the Marawila Magistrate’s Court this afternoon.
