Six persons who had allegedly engaged in an illegal excavation in Nagoda have been arrested, Ada Derana reporter said.
The suspects were arrested in Gonagoda area in Nagoda last evening (20).
Several equipment used for the illegal excavation have also been seized from the possession of the suspects. The police said the alleged treasure hunters will be produced before the Kalutara Magistrate today (20).
