Lotus Road in Colombo Fort has been closed for traffic due to a protest march by several teachers’ unions, Ada Derana reporter said.
The agitation has been organized by the Teachers and Principals Trade Unions Alliance based on several demands.
Police advised motorists to use alternative routes as the protest has resulted in severe traffic congestion in and around the area.
