Former Governor of the Central Bank, Ajith Nivard Cabraal, today arrived at the Financial Crime Investigation Division (FCID) to give a statement.
He was summoned in connection with the investigations into allegation of misappropriation of state funds when canvassing the former government’s bid to hold the Commonwealth Games -2018 in Sri Lanka.
Mr Cabraal was also summoned by the FCID on Monday with regard to the investigation.
