Two youths drown in Weheragoda Wewa

Two persons have drowned while bathing in the Weheragoda Wewa (reservoir) in Padiyatalawa.
A group of four persons were bathing when two of them had drowned. They were rushed to the hospital, however were pronounced dead on admission.
The deceased have been identified as a 19-year-old and a 25-year-old from Thalapitioya in Padiyatalawa.
The bodies have been placed at the Padiyatalawa Hospital while the postmortem examination will be carried out today.
