High Commissioner of Pakistan in Sri Lanka Syed Shakeel Hussain says the two countries enjoy excellent relations and there is a strong will on both sides to further develop and strengthen these relations.
He was talking to 10-member student delegation in Colombo from Abbotabad, Pakistan.
The student’s delegation visited Sri Lanka under Pakistan-Sri Lanka Youth Exchange Programme arranged by Ministry of National Policy and Economic Affairs and National Youth Services Council of Sri Lanka.
Shakeel Hussain emphasized that such visits are an excellent way to further improving the understanding and friendship between the two nations. He expressed the hope that the visit would add value to the already strong bonds of friendship between Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
He said more frequent people-to-people contacts through enhanced student and faculty exchanges between learning institutions of the two countries would further promote this relationship.
