A fire is reported at a compost manufacturing plant at Wellampitiya last night.
The fire erupted at a compost manufacturing company which was operated by the Kollonawa Municipal Council, Police said.
The fire brigade of Municipal Council has doused the fire. The reason behind the fire has not yet been ascertained.
Wellampitiya Police are conducting further investigations.
