Sri Lanka Navy personnel have recovered nearly 17 kilograms of Kerala Ganja abandoned in a boat in the sea area south of Point Pedro.
Naval personnel attached to SLNS Uththara located in Kankesanthurai in Northern Naval Command discovered the Fibre Glass Dinghy abandoned in the sea yesterday (13).
The haul of cannabis and dinghy were produced to Point Pedro Police for onward legal action, navy media unit said.
