Former chairman of the Warakapola Pradeshiya Sabha, Chandana Kithsiri Wijetunga, has pleaded guilty to charges of failing to declare assets and liabilities, before the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court today (14).
He was ordered released on a personal bail of Rs 10,000 by Colombo Chief Magistrate Gihan Pilapitiya.
The magistrate stated that the defendant’s sentence will be declared on October 28.
