During a raid carried out by the naval personnel, in coordination with Peliyagoda Police arrested a suspect with six kg of Kerala Cannabis.
By the time the arrest was made, the suspect was transferring the haul of cannabis by a three-wheeler in Mattakkuliya area.
The apprehended person and items were handed over to Peliyagoda Police for onward legal action.
