Two cops were killed after their motorbike collided head on with a vehicle, the police said. The accident occurred on Negombo - Pitipana road last evening.
The deceased have been identified as 32 and 39 year-old constables attached to the Negombo Police station.
The driver of the vehicle has been arrested and he will be produced before the Negombo Magistrate today.
