Up country train services have been obstructed due to a ground cave in on the tracks between railway stations in Ihala Kotte and Kadigamuwa, the Department of Railways (CGR) said.
Train services along the up-country line have been limited to Rambukkana due to heavy rains and the cave in.
The railway control room said that steps are currently being taken to restore train services along the line at the earliest.
