Showery weather to continue until Nov.7 - Met. Department

showery weather and cloudy skies can be expected to continue at most parts of the island, the Met. Department predicts.
The low level atmospheric disturbance in the Bay of Bengal has intensified in to a depression.
Heavy falls (more than 100 mm) can be expected at some places, (particularly in the Southern, Central, Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces) until 7 November.
Misty conditions can be expected at some places in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and Southern provinces during the morning.
There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
