Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake will deliver the budget speech tomorrow (10) while the budget debate will continue until December 10.
Minister Karunanayake presented the 2017 Appropriation Bill at a special parliamentary sitting on 20 October.
The forthcoming budget will be a people’s budget as it would incorporate ideas proposed by the people from all corners of the country, the Finance Minister said earlier.
