Four arrested over a robbery in Wellawatte

Four suspects have been arrested over a robbery at a shop in Wellawatte, the police said.
The suspects were arrested in an operation based on information received by the Special Crimes Investigation Unit of the Mirihana Police.
Several items including a trishaw and cash amounting to a tune of Rs.245,000 was also seized, an official added.
The suspects have been identified as residents of Eppawala and Nugegoda areas and they will be produced before the Nugegoda Magistrate’s Court today.
