A sudden power failure is currently being experienced in Kalutara, Matugama, Panadura, Ambalangoda and Horana areas due to a fault in a supply line, the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) said.
The outage was reportedly caused by a fault in the supply line between Pannipitiya and Matugama.
The CEB said that necessary steps are currently being taken to restore power to these affected areas.
