Minister of Rural Economy P. Harrison has vowed that the Monetary Board of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka will not be privatized.
Harrison expressed this view while speaking at an event held in Kebithigollewa this afternoon.
He also dismissed allegation leveled by the Joint Opposition in this regard citing it as an ‘utter lie’.
“Did Bandula Gunawardena die and reborn?” he asked. Harrison also slammed Gunawardena for turning a blind eye on the ‘stubborn’ behaviors of the previous regime.
