A suspect found guilty in connection with a murder which had taken place in the Welimada area in 2003, has been sentenced to death by the Badulla High Court.
He had been living overseas following the murder while he was arrested upon returning to the country and produced before the court.
The suspect, a resident of Uva Paranagama, was subsequently sentenced to death.
