Heavy traffic near Parliament

Heavy traffic reported on Parliament road to Battaramulla due to a protest by Samurdhi officers near parliament roundabout, Ada Derana Reporter said.
The police advised drivers to use alternative routes if at all possible.
Meanwhile, the Colombo Additional Magistrate has rejected to issue an injunction to prevent protesters from holding demonstrations near the Parliament on Tuesday.
The police have requested the injunction order following a scheduled protest by the university students near the parliament this afternoon, Ada Derana reporter said.
