Three members of the same family killed in Ambalangoda shooting

Three members of the same family, a father, mother and a 4 year old child were killed due to a shooting incident in Madampe area in Ambalangoda, Hospital sources said.
The police have launched an investigation to locate and identify the suspects, an official said.
The remains of the deceased are kept at the Ambalangoda hospital pending autopsy.
The further investigations into the incident are carried out by the Scene of Crime Officers (SOCO).
