Twenty six people were injured and hospitalized after a private bus they were travelling in toppled over in Sungawala area, Ada Derana reporter said.
The accident occurred on Somawathi - Sungawala road at around 12.30 pm.
The injured persons have been admitted to the hospitals in Pulathisipura and Polonnaruwa. At least three people are in a critical condition, according to officials.
