The Government Health Service Ambulance and Transport Drivers of the North Central Province have resorted to strike since this morning (21).
Its Chairman Wasantha Kumara told Ada Derana they resorted to strike as the proposal to implement a procedure to recruit Health Service drivers has not yet been approved.
He also urged the authorities to approve the procedure without any delay.
