The number of accidents that were reported with the dawn of Christmas shows a growth compared to last year, hospital sources said. Within the 24 hours that ended at 12.00 am today (25) a total of 254 people have received treatment from the Outpatient Department of the Colombo National Hospital.
Compared to last years, there is an increase in patients, who were involved in road accidents, hospital sources added.
